Fall Novellas!
The weather is changing and it’s always great to have a good book to cozy up with. While I love a long read sometimes I like to read something short and sweet. With the holiday season around the corner, its fitting to start with a few fun reads.
I know it’s after Halloween, but you might want to read this good Halloween novella by Alexandra Warren. A Tale of Two Cities was not-so-spooky good, and It was a fun read too. It was the best of times; it was the worst of times. Oh! Sorry, Charles Dickens, wrong book.
Words Unspoken by Tajma Brown – Oh my, this was a nice story for this new author. I’m trying to follow her around to see what new projects she’s currently working on.
If This Isn’t Love by Shanice XLola–the story was a short love connection piece. I could feel their passion spilling off the pages. I love it when a story leaves me all warm and fuzzy inside.
The Illumination of Ginger by Nicole Falls– I’m telling you guys for real, this is another must-read story! The story had a very deep rendering with a powerful message about family love. The author delivered a funny and compassionate story.
I Get Lost In Your Love #Dirty 30 Series, this is a three book series by Deshon Dreamz. It’s sexy stories you won’t want to miss, this author is also moving on up on my authors to watch list.
The Darkside of the Moon by Mercy B. I will admit, this author has an interesting way with words. Her short novella always leaves readers grasping for more. The storyline is always fascinating.
A Summer of Love: A Short Story by Cassie Hart. The novella was very short and sensual. I was ready to send the author an email for more of this story. Cassie Hart is a new author I recently discovered, I’m definitely looking forward to reading more of her work.
Lastly, if you’re looking for a good throat punch book that will leave you wanting to slap a man just because you’ll want to read- He’s a Beautiful Liar by Melissa Monae. Fair warning: The liar is rachet, and you’ll be reading with your fist clenched like Arthur the whole time.
That’s it for now. I’ll see you all again soon!
