Hey, Sistah’s Hey! I always have my face stuck inside a book because reading is life…duh!

I was finding myself being drawn to the heavy hitters in the romance and urban industries because well they are dope. But, I was becoming biased in my reading and not allowing myself to step outside of the box.

So I set out on a journey and decided to give some new authors a try. I will be the first to say there were some definite hits but there were also some misses.

Nonetheless, I was pleasantly surprised by what I found, in 2019 these authors listed below are going to make you love them and one-click their novels. Are there more out there? Oh heck yes and I am still trying to get around to finishing my TBR (to be read) list.

So without further ado in no particular order let me introduce you to the 10 authors that have caught my literary eye.

ShanicexLola

ShanicexLola delivers a steaming love that has you looking for her male leads in real life. She strays from the traditional structure of the romance genre but you can tell she pours her heart into her work and has bulldozed a lane all her own.

Asia Monique

I’ve mentioned this author in a blog post before and my sentiments are no different she is definitely growing and trying things that are outside of the box. Her romance titles are fulfilling and her urban projects keeps you on the edge of your seat. I have a feeling once this author starts rolling we won’t be able to keep up.

Mel Dau

Where do I begin with this author? Sistah’s when I tell you that this woman packs a mighty pen I mean just that. She is fairly new but the title’s under her belt won’t let you believe that her recent release packed a message so heartfelt that it took me a couple of days to recover from it. Definitely, don’t sleep on this one because you may miss out on something great.

Myiesha Mason

Myiesha is one of those authors that sneak up on you. How in the world do you take a classic like Romeo and Juliet and make it modern? This author had me cracking up and feigning for more. All of her novels captivates you and takes you on a wonderful journey. I would highly recommend this author.

J. Nichole

J. Nichole is a quiet beast in her own right. Her novels take you on a journey and make you want to get to know her characters. It was a great mistake stumbling upon her novels because she has gained a lifetime fan.

A. Jova’n (formerly known as AJ Dix)

The first title I read by this author (as AJ Dix) was urban and let me tell you if it wasn’t frowned upon, I would’ve been on her doorstep demanding answers because it was just that dang good. She is definably a quiet beast and her pen game makes you think you are living the life of the man character. Her next project will be an automatic one-click for me.

A. Marie

A. Marie took a brief hiatus from the writing industry but she recently came back with a vengeance. She is delivering some hot and steamy novels that will have you clutching your pearls and praying that someone delivers you a book bae in real life. Sistah Girl is burning up the charts and I ain’t mad at her.

Chelsea Maria

I am excited about this authors growth. You never know what to expect when you are reading a Chelsea Maria novel but what I can say for certain the plots, the love, and the book baes will leave you coming back for more.

Bre’Youn

Reading Bre’youn’s catalog I’ve seen her growth in her writing. The messages and the love she pens leaves the reader fulfilled and leaving out with a little bit more knowledge. Definitely be on the lookout for this authors work. My favorite so far from this author is definitely Chosyn For Love, the message behind it is worthy of the world hearing and her reason behind penning that novel is heartfelt.

Iesha Bree

Iesha Bree has been silent for some time but what I have read from her is dope. If she can bring the heat that she has brought forth so far there will be no touching her pen. She weaves a relatable tale that will have you so wrapped in that you want to meet these people in real life.

These authors are all definitely ones to watch, happy reading Sistah Girls
