London C. Willimas decided at the tender age of eleven years old to pen her first book about her experience at a Black Lives Matter protest.
The Waterbury, Connecticut native wanted to share her experience with other children and parents about protesting and what it means to be an activist.
During our interview, Williams shared how she had been writing since she was in the first grade, she also gave advice to other kids who may want to write a book but might be afraid to take the leap.
Now at the age of twelve, Williams has had book signings and shared her story with so many people (including Hip-Hop mogul Damon Dash).
This talented, young, and extremely smart child is showing us all that there is no age limit when it comes to standing up for what you believe in.
