Sistah Girls, there are some books that everyone should read. I have put together a list of books that you definitely should have already read by now. If you haven’t no worries, I’ve gotcha!

Sand to the Beach by Shae Sanders

I recently discovered and devoured Shae Sanders’s catalog. Sanders’s writing style is eclectically deceptive. And her intimate scenes will have you looking for Tyrone to holla at him for a few hours.

Sand to the Beach was hot and steamy. You all know how much I enjoy a female who owns her life. And she is not afraid to go after what she wants. The story was an enemy to lover tale where the parents were a couple. It was funny, sexy, and a quirky enjoyable time.

Pretty Little Lies: A Casual Office Romance (Ganton Hills) by Aubree Pynn

The story featured the snippet of Ganton Hills alumni as a backdrop for the tale. For those of you not familiar with the Ganton Hills Series, do not go without protection. Sistah Girls, this story was about a physician couple and their joint practice.

Unfortunately, the husband’s foolery, wife’s wealth, lies, and deception comes home to roost. Although the story is not in Ganton Hills, it is an offshoot. Each tale is relativity short, yet each edition packs a powerful punch. Pretty Little Lies–a message to cheaters to heed.

Continuum by Daniel Allen

The story has the instant connection going for it–along with a super-hot couple. The smart girl and the jock tangle with one another’s hearts, and both come out winners. Young love never looked so appealing,  but sis, the grown-up pair was hotter than an old-fashioned high school Bunsen burner. I even scorched my fingers, turning the pages.

It is Me Or the Bag: A New Urban Story by Angelia Vernon Menchan

The story featured a man who promised his wife he would leave the street game. However, his wife gave him an ultimatum, as the title said; it was her or the bag.

The five books’ series began with this fantastic introduction to a new genre for this author. The books in the series include, Beyond The Bag: Jake’s Story: The Bag Book 2,Ralph Returns: Another Kind of Bag: The Bag Book 3, Christmas with The Sears (The Bag Book 4), and the final book Being Ralph Sears: The Sears Book 5 (The Bag).

Just A Friend by AshleyNicole

The story was about male friends who had one female friend in the mix. The crew and their homegirl did everything together, and this act showed readers how a friendship changes over time. In typical AshleyNicole fashion, the story was comical, emotional, and a sweet treat.

Lust at First Sight: A Collection of Sexy Shorts by Té Russ

If you are not a fan of short tales, this one was sexy enough and long enough to want to see the characters again in full-length novels. Each novelette featured strangers meeting and having a super-strong connection that pulls them towards one another. Each edition was delicious!

Unapologetically Me by Danesha Little

When Unapologetically was released in 2019 it received rave reviews–sis, you have to read this book. The idea for this story threw me off my square and then reeled me in with excellent writing and storytelling. You all know the difference, right? Check out Little’s catalog while you are in there perusing.

Saving Sunflower (The Sun) by Rae Lyse

Rae Lyse dropped a gem with Saving Sunflower and The Endgame: The Sun: Book Two. If you are not ready for a very emotional ride and a compelling story, you are ill-prepared for the big rides– stay on the merry-go-round and the teacup ride because both books are heavy lifting good.

The story is a love story with the most authentic depiction of relationships. The novel is long, detailed, and worth the words and pages necessary to tell Dominic and Claudette’s complete story. Again, in the second book, this author poured her heart out once again to describe two very emotional tales worthy of a Black Oscar.

Dare Me to Love You by Cherish Amore

q? encoding=UTF8&ASIN=B09BG4HLZQ&Format= SL250 &ID=AsinImage&MarketPlace=US&ServiceVersion=20070822&WS=1&tag=shareehereford 20&language=en USir?t=shareehereford 20&language=en US&l=li3&o=1&a=B09BG4HLZQ

This story is about a fun-seeking, fun-loving couple that dares readers to accept that love is not always a thing to sneeze about when the couple’s chemistry is the leading edge, a razor-sharp edge. You should definitely read this book.

Each author on this list has a beautiful selection of notable books in their catalogs. Give them a try.
