Sistah Girls, I’m so excited to have Yasmine Cheyenne on the podcast!

Hailing from Brooklyn, New York (my hometown) Yasmine Cheyenne is an author, self-healing educator, mental wellness advocate, and motivational speaker. I first caught wind of Cheyenne when she released her first book, The Sugar Jar: Create Boundaries, Embrace Self-Healing, and Enjoy the Sweet Things in Life.

In The Sugar Jar, Cheyenne asked us to integrate where we focus our energy, examine what depletes it, and create a foundation that we can use to build healthy boundaries to live an abundant life.

Now she’s back with Wisdom of the Path: The Beautiful and Bumpy Ride to Healing and Trusting Our Inner Guide, using her gift of powerful storytelling, Cheyenne gives readers the tools to have radical moments of honesty to create a pathway to the truth.

Using the truth, we can move forward to heal traumas affecting us (that we don’t even know about) and live life guided by our honest principles. One of my favorite quotes from the book is, “You’re not wrong about you just because your dreams aren’t here yet.”

Cheyenne covers grief, friendships, community, intentions, commitments we keep (or don’t keep) to ourselves, and so much more. Cheyenne guides us through each of these topics using personal stories that she does not sugarcoat to give us real-life scenarios using the tools she’s equipped us with.
