I last spoke with author, director, and producer Takerra Allen in 2018. We discussed her then-newest series, Seasons of Fidelity. Following that series, she released Last Stop From Innocence, a novel set in the 90s, that story captured readers’ hearts while also giving us some feel-good art during the height of the pandemic.
Allen took an almost three-year break from publishing, and now she’s back with her newest release–Needful Noore, an 840-page novel that will surely keep readers turning the pages until the very end.
On the eve of Allen’s release, we sat down to talk about the inspiration behind Needful Noor, how she’s been since we last spoke in 2018, and everything in between.
